Welcome to Florence......

This site is designed to serve multiple purposes.
The first is to provide anyone with an interest access to the images that I have captured on my visits to Florence. The originals of these images are VERY high resolution (6.5 mega pixels) and you are free to use them as you like provided that; one you give me credit for the images and two you send me some money.

You see, I intended this site to be a way for my friend to make extra money while she is working on her dissertation in Italy. So I registered the URL with the intentions of giving tours of this splendid city from the eyes of an artist. I realized quickly however that she would not have time to do her research and shuffle tourists around. Then one day we were looking at the pictures I have taken and she commented that many were better then she ever had available when teaching. Others were simply garbage but sifting through them proved to be more then worthwhile. So I figured I would put my images up for anyone to use and ask only that if you do ..

Send me anything you like... if you don't send anything I wont be surprised however if you send a dollar ($1), or five ($5), or ten($10) or whatever, It will restore my faith in mankind( kind of) and provide some extra money for a lady that is working very hard and deserves it.  I believe that I have coined a new phrase for this.... "Share Vision"... instead of Shareware ...

Use the images for websites, school reports, whatever. They should make fabulous slides as well and many will be of  places or things that are hard to find good photos of.

In the future I will be adding lots of the more famous piazzas, palazzos, artwork, sculptors and other things that give Florence its charm. I will also try to include a little background of the images but will try to keep it brief. If there is any particular image you  are looking for, write me. If you include a contribution, you can be sure something will show up and I can take specific shots if you like as well. If you have  criticism, keep it to yourself !!  Any positive suggestions are always welcome however. If you would like a DVD of  the whole site and all of the original high resolution images ( each are about 2mb ) send me $35  + $5 for postage and handling and ill get it out to you right away.
